The Southern Nevada Immunization and Health Coalition (SNIHC) is a diverse partnership of dedicated members representing health and childcare organizations, public health and social service agencies, volunteer and community service groups, schools, government, businesses, and individuals.

Organization Mission, Vision, & Goals

Mission
Our mission is to promote health and decrease the incidence of vaccine preventable diseases in Southern Nevada through community partnerships and education.

Vision
Remove barriers to ensure all southern Nevada children have access to immunizations and health resources.

Encourage appropriate immunizations and preventative health throughout the life span.

Goals
Our goals are as follows:

Goal 1 - Develop and sustain an effective community organization
Goal 2 - Provide immunization awareness, education and health access to the community.
Goal 3 - Provide immunization information, health education, and support to providers.
Goal 4 - Advocate for policy changes to maximize immunization rates and health outcomes.


Strategic Objectives

Objective 1 – Increase and enhance community access to childhood vaccinations.
Objective 2 – Increase access to community resources for preventative health.
Objective 3 – Increase education and public awareness.
Objective 4 – Improve immunization rates through Nevada WebIZ.
